This past October 7 concluded, another year, the 13th celebration of the fair Fruit Attraction. Organized by IFEMA and FEPEX, it brought together more than 65,000 professionals from 110 countries. Turning Madrid into the world fruit and vegetable capital during the 3 days.
In terms of exhibitors, international participation in this case accounted for 46% of the total, with some 600 foreign companies from 43 countries and where the volume of Italian and French participants has stood out from the average. As far as Spain is concerned, all production areas were represented by 703 companies.
These three are some of the segments into which the fair has been divided. The most represented segment was 'Fresh Produce', with more than 65%. Next, the auxiliary industry had a significant weight, with a representation of 18%. Other segments such as 'Fresh Food Logistics', with companies dedicated to logistics, mobility, IT and management of the cold chain for fresh and frozen foods, completed this categorization.
The fair is ratified as a fundamental instrument for global fruit and vegetable marketing and its ability to promote world exports in the sector.
